I'm a man who likes a good hot dog, so when this place advertised 'world famous' hot dogs I decided to give them a shot.
I got a hot dog with some mustard and a side of poutine (when in Rome). The hot dog itself was ok, but definitely not the world's best. I was a little disappointed. Poutine was good, but having fries/gravy/cheese for lunch seems a little heavy for me.
I probably wouldn't go here again if I was in the area since there's so many restaurants in the Forks Market. -

Skinner's is one of many fast food places inside the Forks Market, specializing in hot dogs.
I've read from research that Skinner's is famous for their hot dogs, so I decided to go with their single dog. It was pretty much a snack for me, hence why I didn't delve deeper into any of their more exotic items.
Personally I didn't find anything special about the hot dog. It was edible and had taste, but for almost $5 I did somewhat expect more out of the hot dog.
Considering the hot dogs I've tried in my lifetime, I'll likely not return here. -

If your looking for a tasty but huge burger, Skinners is the stop. They cook the food to order so you know it is nice and fresh. We got the cheese burger 'loaded' and indeed it was.
The fries were nicely done although the gravy lacked flavour.
Great staff. Friendly and engaging. -

Really a nice hot dog and hamburger
Real chips that are not frozen are very hard to come by
Very exceptional chips
To American visitors - yes Canadians - as per British tradition serve french fries / chips with white vinegar
A large bottle of real vinegar was provided
You can try your french fries with vinegar poured on as well as standard red ketchup
Try it you will like it
Also in the seating area is a hockey stick roof memorial arrangement
The originals Mr Skinner is lockport was a well known local hockey player celebrity
Look up to the roof in the seating area -

I bought a poutine near closing time and it tasted fine just the fry's were dry and old and I definitely got a little sick from the food as my body was digesting it PS. Poutines use cheese curds only otherwise it's just fried cheese and gravy
